Getting started

Sign up with your email — no card needed — and start typing. FlowGuild reads each question and automatically uses the best AI for it, so you never have to pick a model. Light daily use is free; beyond that you spend prepaid AICoins, and only hard questions reach the premium (more expensive) models.

How to use FlowGuild

Chatting & auto mode

Just ask your question in plain English in the Chats tab. FlowGuild reads it and automatically picks the best-value AI for it — a fast, inexpensive model for simple questions, a top-tier model only when a question genuinely needs one. That's the default, but you're in control: you can pick any of the 300+ models yourself for a message using the model selector. Either way you don't lose context — follow-up questions keep the thread. After an answer you'll often see suggested next steps you can tap to go deeper.

Attaching files, images & links

Use the + button in the message box to add a CSV, Excel sheet, PDF, screenshot or image, then ask about it in plain English. You can also paste a link or a block of tabular data straight in. For a one-off question about a file, attach it here; to keep a document around for every chat, add it to your Knowledge base instead (below).

Live web search

Ask for anything current — news, prices, recent facts — and FlowGuild searches the live web and answers with sources you can click, rather than guessing from old training data. You don't need to switch anything on; it's used when your question needs up-to-date information.

Creating images

Describe the image you want (for example "a minimalist logo of a mountain at sunrise") and FlowGuild generates it right in the chat. If the request is ambiguous it may ask a quick clarifying question first. The coin cost of an image is shown before you commit.

Analysing data (Analyst)

Open the Analyst tab (or drop a file into chat) to analyse a spreadsheet. FlowGuild profiles your columns, then runs real calculations in a secure sandbox — not guesswork — and draws interactive charts you can hover and switch between. Ask questions in plain English or use the one-click presets (summary stats, correlations, group-by, outliers, trends). You can download the exact Python it ran, and turn on Private mode to keep your raw rows off the AI entirely (see below).

Your knowledge base

In Knowledgebase, upload the documents FlowGuild should treat as your source of truth — PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV, text or images (the text is extracted). It then uses them across all your chats, with citations, so you don't have to re-paste the same context. Organise items into folders, set how long they're kept, and download or delete them any time. Each account has a storage allowance shown on the page.

Agents (let it run tasks for you)

In Agents, give a goal in plain English and FlowGuild plans the steps and carries them out — on demand or on a schedule you set. Every agent runs inside spend caps you control, keeps a run-by-run history, and you can edit its steps. Good for recurring jobs like "every Monday, summarise these sources and email me the highlights."

Comparing AIs side by side

Use Compare to send the same question to several AIs at once and see their answers next to each other — handy when you want a second opinion or to judge which model you prefer for a kind of task. You only pay for the models you run.

Private mode for sensitive data

When you analyse a file, Private mode keeps your raw data inside the secure sandbox — the underlying rows are never sent to an AI model. The trade-off is that you get the computed result and charts without an AI-written narrative around them. Use it whenever the data itself is confidential.

AICoins & billing

You pay per answer with prepaid AICoins. Most questions are simple and cost a fraction of a coin; only the hard ones reach the premium models. The Pricing page shows exactly how many coins each model costs per million tokens. Top up from Settings → Account in your local currency — taxes are calculated at checkout — and your balance is valid for 12 months. Unused coins can be refunded within 14 days of purchase (see the FAQ); coins already spent are non-refundable.

Privacy, your data & account

We never sell your data, and you're never the product — your chats are used only to run FlowGuild and improve your answers. To generate answers, your prompts are sent to AI providers under their own terms (see our Privacy Policy). To minimise what we store, we also make reasonable efforts to automatically redact common sensitive details (such as card numbers, emails and phone numbers) from your prompts before they're saved. Protect your account with two-factor authentication (Settings → Security — choose an authenticator app or an emailed code), request a copy of everything we hold about you any time (email support@flowguild.co.uk), or delete your account whenever you want. When you delete it, we erase your conversations, knowledge base and profile and keep only the minimal records the law requires us to (chiefly transaction and tax records, in a minimised form), which are deleted when their retention period ends.
